My individual therapy fee is based on a tiered, anti-oppressive rate structure. Why? Because we don’t access money equally.

We live inside systems that distribute wealth based on race, gender, ability, citizenship status, language, generational wealth, and proximity to power. Mental health care should not ignore that reality. A flat fee assumes we all start from the same place. We don’t.

This tiered structure invites reflection on financial access and encourages you to choose a rate that aligns with your lived access to resources. It is rooted in honesty, integrity, and collective care.

For those with financial privilege, generational wealth, high income, or consistent financial security. Choosing this tier directly supports my ability to offer reduced-fee spots and increases access to care for those navigating systemic barriers.
For those who are able to meet their basic needs consistently, have some financial flexibility, and can pay the standard rate without significant hardship.
Reserved for clients with limited financial access and for those who hold marginalized identities that experience systemic barriers to wealth and healthcare access. Sliding scale spots are limited and prioritized for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color; gender expansive, trans, and non-binary folks; and disabled individuals.
